Commissions
Many of the images you will see throughout our website are of commissions.
Generally these start with an idea from our clients
that we expand upon. We like to visit the proposed site of the installation to look at the
colours already in the area. This assists us in the building of a colour pallet. Seeing the location also helps us determine an appropriate size and shape for the work to best compliment the area.
I then prepare a range of designs and colours to take back to
the client for approval and make any necessary changes. Once the final
design is complete we give a quote and estimated time of delivery and the
work proceeds from there.
The Water Lilly panels (pictured above) are made up of opaque Glass, Bisazza Italian
glass tiles and Van Gough glass tiles which give a soft luminous glow.
The panels were commissioned by Susan Koedam of Koedam Design in
Cheerybrook , Sydney, for her client in Wahroonga. Susan designed the
wrought iron frames that surround both the mirrors and the mosaics. The
frames were hand crafted by Doug Moseley from Port Macquarie.
